Brussels Climate
Brussels, Brussels Region, Belgium
Brussels is very nice, but has no continuity in its architecture or nice places. They're like islands. Make sure to visit the historical center, with the most beautiful square on Earth.
The subway system is not really extended. However, the tramways and buses are extremely efficient, do not hesitate to use them, they're a great way to see the true people of Brussels.
As the capital of Belgium, the city brings together the different traditional cuisines. Belgian cuisine is of French quality, in German amounts, with affordable Belgian prices. Make sure to try the shrimp croquettes, the brasserie cuisine, the trappist beers (and every other but there's more than 800 different ones brewed in the country...), the chocolates (the best being Marcolini and Wittamer, both situated on the Grand Sablon Place).
A few tips :
- some neighborhoods might be a bit unsafe, just avoid showing expensive jewelry or cameras.
- if the weather is rainy (as often), get out at night, the city gets a dramatic aspect, with the public lights reflected and the Belgians partying
- parties mostly take place around the Bourse and in the St-Gery neighbourhood, but also in many other places

Good tip?
