01428Werchter is a small village. Once a year there is a great rock festival and the meadows around it are covered by tents. It is near to the river Dijle, which has it's confluention with the river Demer near the village.

03014Werchter is a little non-existent town most of the year. Except in the summer when there is 2 major festivals (Rock Werchter & Werchter Classic). There are also other concerts throughout the summer, but I prefer the festivals!
