Place to catch the ferry from Belgium for the UK ... not much happening otherwise... nowadays, with the Eurostar, even this has limited appeal unless you're taking your car...

Bruges, West-Vlaanderen Region, Belgium
Brugge is a nice old Belgian city with lots of interesting sites to see. Do visit the Begijnhof, the park and note the many small canals, called the 'Reien'. Brugge is a popular touristic hotspot so beware of big crowds and pickpockets!! You best visit during weekdays. Getting there is very easy: go by train, departing from Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent or any other big Belgian city. Do not forget to bring your camera because there's lots to photograph!!
