Traveling with Children in Belgium
Ave-et-Auffe, Namur Region, Belgium
if you wanna go camping go to Camping Le Roptai!
More than 70 years old, but a really fun place to stay. During summer excellent for kids, off season excellent for some alone-time. Pets are welcome (on a leash)
Some things to do in the neighbourhood are: Caves (Han and Rochefort), outdoor sports, Redu (bookvillage) etc etc

Brussels, Brussels Region, Belgium
Brussels has a pretty central square and then, of course, there is the famous Mannetje Pis (statue of a small boy standing on a street corner taking a leak). It is above head level and fenced in to keep away child molesters who like messing with bronze boys, I presume. Just kidding! But, if you want to hang out in a place that is relaxed and made for walking, head to Brugge.

Antwerpen, Antwerpen Region, Belgium
If you visit this georgeous city, you must see the old docks right next to the old city center. Visit the Diamond museum, the cathedral, "Het Steen": Naval museum and the place where P.P.Rubens lived and worked. A Good place to chill on Sunday nights is "The Kid´s RythmBlues Dance Café". There is a boogie woogie band on every sunday.

Jette, Brabant Wallon Region, Belgium
It is very interesting to wonder around Brussels because of the big differences between one street to the next. After you have passed a ghetto like area where many foreigners live you arrive to Jette, which is a lower middle class area. The houses are small but in better shape. Jette also houses the most interesting museum in Brussels. The private home of Rene Magritte, one of the 19th centuries most famous Surealist painters. The house is in three storages. On the first floor you see the interiour kept from Rene Magritte himself. Even the paint is kept as it was when he lived there for 24 years and painted some of his most famous pictures. Also one of his dogs is placed in the living room. The second floor holds the history from he was a kid until his death and the developement of his painting. On the third floor there is an exebition of some of his special works like for advertisement and the shop where you can get posters of his pictures to a reasonable price
