The main reason to visit Kaye Caulker is to dive the famous Blue Hole. A word of warning, at quiet times you may have to look quite hard to find a Dive shop actually going out to the Blue Hole. They tend to wait until they have a very full boat. I was there in July and had to wait 3 days, so book ahead if time is tight. NB. The Blue Hole itself is overrated unless you're Nitrox rated and can stay down longer; but there are other dive sites nearby that are truly beautiful.

Oh, one more tip for Caye Caulker! Of all places I've been this is one where the locals take 'island time' to an extreme. Things go VERY slow here. Some tourists complain about it even...crazy! Keep this in mind if you go to a restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Everything will be fresh, but it could take an hour for a simple egg breakfast!

Wish Willies is the best place to eat, chill, and watch the sunset from his rooftop! Afterwards head down to the Split... everything closes at midnight but if you stick around the locals may give you a ride over to other islands... one of which is completely deserted except for a kick ass rasta bar in the middle... a night you won't forget!!
