If you want to experince the real Belize and be within walking distance to the Ancient Mayan complex of Lamanai then stay at Indian Church. One small resturuant and a few porch-front shops provide amply enough of amenities. With the ruins and river nearby, there are plenty of activities in this part of Belize!
