  • Amazing little place where the main road is a single row of slabs about 3 foot wide.
  • Lobser festival is fun but it may rain and don't be suprised if you have to puch the bus the last few miles.
  • Don't share a single bed with two other people - it ain't comfortable.
  • Awesome sea-food.
  • Excellent spot to take tours and dive trips from but may be a little pricey as on the tourist route.
  • Avoid the dark end of the beach - it's dark so people can sell drugs and give illicit massages!

Non è un vero e proprio paese...si tratta di case di legno su palafitta, tutte colorate, sparse per stradine di sabbia... Troverai un ristorante cinese (il Belize è pieno di persone di Taiwan), una gelateria di italiani e alcuni ristorantini/bar...Bella la spiaggia e il mare. Nessuna attività notturna...tranne quella delle cucarache...Ideale per rilassarsi.

USD are accepted ...$1 is worth $2 Belize Dollars. Grocery Stores n Placencia do NOT accept credit or debit cards and neither do most restaurants. But some do such as Wendy's and Cozy Corner.
