Bhutan Dos and Don'ts

  • Make sure to dress discretely when visiting religious sites.  This includes skirts or long pants for women,a nd long shorts or trousers for men.
  • Always take off your shoes when entering temples or religious sites.
  • It is forbidden by law to take photos at any borders, as they are all considered active military installations.
