03310Rurrembaque is a small quiet town on the rio Beni. It is a good starting point for every kind of adventure in the tropical jungle. The most common way to reach Rurre is by a small airplain from La Paz. Be careful that you come down from 4000 to 0 m in 45 minutes: this may cause you to feel uncomfortable. And the way back is amazing: the very small airplane will pass by the nevado Chacaltaya (over 500m). be prepared for turbolences...

0144This place has got to be a must when in boliva. The town is really relaxing though remember take cash as there is no atm so i had to borrow money to pay for me airport transfer. The pampas tour is brill but go with the right company( cant remember mine but it was run by an isreali guy.) And i would take a plane as the bus was well hatful and ours was pretty short 21 hours.

04054Before we left for our trip to the pampa, we paid our travel agency in advance to buy us a flight ticket to la paz and were told everything was arranged. After our trip we recognized that they tried to buy our ticket on the same day and there were no seats left!
