Uyuni Travel Guide

The Salar de Uyuni...... will blow your mind and such an interesting place. I took a 4 day tour and one day your travelling the whole day on salk flats that give the appearence of snow, with little islands covered with Cacti. Next day your freezing and at 5000m above sea level and lakes of all colours and strange rocks formations. I will visit this place again in 2009 and welcome all who want to join me.

Don't pay more than 70-75 USD for the 3-days Uyuni-Tour. We asked many agencies, got many different prices, were told there were big differences. But in our jeep were also people who paid 90-95 USD for the same tour in the same group (were told it was a better one). 
Anyway all of them go to the same places, stop and eat at the same places almost the same thing! So safe your money!

If you leave the Uyuni-Tour after Laguna Verde for San Pedro de Atacama, to cross the Chili border get your stamp in your passport before you leave Uyuni. There is a office therefor - formalities take only 2-3 minutes and costs 15 Bolivianos per person.
