  125757Surprisingly nice town, the first big stop on the train from Villazon (Argentine border) to Uyuni. There are a couple of nice restaurants and you can book trips to the Salt Flats from here and finish up in Uyuni (rather than doing the Salt Flats from Uyuni where you go in a loop). There's no ATM (for foreigners) in Tupiza, although the bank will give you money off your credit card (for a fee). Good tip? (0)  0245Incredible city! It's well worth stoping there a few days to see the surroundings (walking or horseriding).
