Africa in General- If you're roughing it,Fires sometimes attracts snakes and other critters-keep it to a minimal. When men in Africa hold hands-they are not gay -just very good friends. Never take an injection in africa (Dirty syringes) If you're in a tight spot-Act as if you own the place.

Ghanzi has good stores where you can stock up for a trip into the Kalahari Game Reserve. Don't forget to fill up on petrol/diesel here.

great place, might take some getting used to be people just tend to let you do what you want but are friendly when you ask for help to get around

Unfortunatly there are at the moment white skinned people not really welcome :-( Take care and ask in local hotels where it is save to go and go out in groups!
