0107A must see for new travelers to this part of Botswana. It was a true 180 from what I was used to but am thrilled to have experienced it!!! You get to encounter nature and the wild at its best. I've never seen animals so in their own habitat as here in Chobe Chilwero. Great private, unique yet upscale and accomodating. Beware of gigantic bugs in this part of the country though. I certainly wasn't expecting that. Hate bugs, but totally worth it, would do it a million more times!!!!!!!!!!!

0033There are many places to camp in Kasane, however for the next year or so I would not recomend Toro Lodge as they are building and consruction seriously affects the atmosphere of camping on the banks of the Chobe. Try Kubu Lodge or others. When In Kasane You must do a sunset cruise on the Chobe River. It is the most amazing thing I have experienced in my life I think. Africa Magic that gets into your blood (and I'm African...!)
