Brazil

Natural beauty, a bustling lifestyle, the festive atmosphere of Carnaval, the mystic jungles of the Amazon and so much more make Brazil a popular destination. Rio de Janeiro, one of Brazil’s most famous cities, features the instantly recognizable Guanabara Bay as well as the familiar Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer, a 40m statue that overlooks the entire city. And with sun down, the day is only beginning. Nightlife is a dazzle of activity. Celebrate, dance, and let loose till dawn. Further north, Natal is well known for its gigantic sand dunes, endless sunshine and beautiful tropical beaches. At Ilha Grande Bay, you have fantastic snorkeling and diving experiences, and that is only scratching the surface of the coast. Inland, Manaus, is the hub of the Amazon region. Here, is the birthplace of the mighty Amazon, where you can see the famous Meeting of Waters between the rivers Negro and Solimões that, due to different densities, don’t mix for more than 6 miles. Within the jungle, come face to face with Brazil’s legendary diverse wildlife. From Toucans to alligators, Tamarin monkeys to leopards, curious creatures are around every corner. History buffs and archeologists will be excited to visit the numerous archeological sites and settlements dating as far back as 12 thousand years. You want to meet the oldest Americans? Find them here. Alternatively, uncover some dinosaur fossils, from the instantly recognizable Stegosaurus to still newly discovered species. Whatever you want to see, Brazil is the type of country that can fuel your imagination. From adventure to sunshine, excitement to letting loose, this country has it all for you to experience.

If you don't wear too much money with you, and walk without necklaces and expensive watches, you'll probably have a great time - it's marvelous city... Few extra roules: don't go to beach after dark, and don't take camera out too often... While inside crowd, you're safe.

If you are very hungry go to one of the churrascarias. Besides a salad bar they serve all sides you can think of and bring the freshly grilled meat to your table where they cut it infront of your eyes. The meat is absolutely delicious and usually there is even a "map" of a cow with numbers on your table so you know which part you are being served. Can be handy sometimes...
