Travel Tips from people who've been to Abadiania
If you're so unlucky to came here, change money at the airport or bigger citys, 'cos the tourist office here has a terrible changing rate. I have 2 reáls for every euro at the airport, but here I can have only 1,65 reáls for an euro.
Next to the main road there's a nice flat where you can rent rooms (Pousada do Sol is the name), euro is acceptable without change and they speak german and a little bit english too. A room with breakfast cost 35 reáls per person at this time.
And be prepared: everybody speaks only portugese in the city, so you should learn some keywords and -sentences before the trip. Good tip? (0) Visit Joao de Deus in Abadiania. Joao, a well known Brazilian healer, has his casa in this little and peacful village near Brasilia! People from all around the world go there for meditation and healing. Enjoy. Good tip? (0) Here you find one of the most interesting spiritual healers in the world. Joao de Teixeira also known as "John of God". Good tip? (0) Ask a travel question about Abadiania
