Ilha Grande Travel Guide

Doncs si, nosaltres l'hem trobat. Aquesta platja, de nom curiós, es troba a Ilha Grande. Famosa entre surfistes i d'aigua super clara és una de les millors platges de Brasil.
Per arribar-hi tens dos opcions: o camines de 2 a 3 hores per la selva, buff fa molta calda, o et decideixes per agafar una barcasa com nosaltres hem fet. Amb 30 min et deixen en una platja pròxima, i ja hi ets, ja pots plantar la tovallola.
Aquesta illa està molt poc habitada i la major part és selva tropical en estat pur. Gracies a que antigament havia sigut cau de pirates, més tard colònia de leprosos i encara més tard presó, aixó va fer que el desenvolupament de l'època no arribes fins aquí i per això actualment encara es poden trobar paradisíaques platges naturals i la selva tropical verge.

Ilha Grande is one of the most romantic places I have been. Pretty adventurous, you can get there only by boat that takes you from / to the Island once a day. :-) A bit of a Robinson Crusoe place, tropical - island feeling. Excellent for diving but also for snorkeling. Staff at the Eco Dive Resort where friendly even if they don't always have what you want, they are very accommodating. Happy to upgrade you if the place is not full. If you are done, sleeping or reading in your hammock, take a boat trip to the nearby reefs. if nothing else, you will see blue starfish, and huge sea turtles.

amazing island with beautiful beaches (no crowds of tourists!) and interesting rainforest nature (don´t forget protection against mosquitoes). no roads on the island; transport only by walking or boat. expensive accomodation and food and drinks (as they have to import everything from the mainland). connection by boats from/to mangaratiba or angra dos reis few times per day (twice?) - check the hours in advance!
