Brazilians city colonized by Italians. ITs about 90km from Florianopolis, the Capital of Santa Catarina State. It's a cozy town with good wine and food. It's also known for have one of the only saints in Brazil: Saint Paulina

It also have one of the best and most hardcore downhill trail in the region.
