Anegada Travel Guide

Anegada is one of the smaller British Virgin Islands, not far from Puerto Rico. Usually you take a small plane from San Juan to Tortola and from there a small 4-6 seater to the Anegada Airport (which is more of a 'shack'). Don't let that discourage you, though! We stayed at Lavenda Breeze, owned by George Brown, which was absolutely beautiful! The private beach was also lovely. The people were friendly, and while there isn't a lot to do there, except eat wonderful food, it truly is a 'vacation' - a time away from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend it to those who would like to get away, watch some TV, read a few good books, bask on a private beach, snorkle and generally get away from it all!
