Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
the best place to travel!! it has a little bit of everything for everyone depending on what part of the island you go to.
Tortola, British Virgin Islands
Since this is the island under British goverment british laws apply! It effected me when I tried to smoke in a restaurant because smoking is not allowed in any public place except the streets. There is nothing to do downtown. You can walk around but there is nothing interesting to find except few restaurants, international food shops and things like that. People seem to be bored and they are not very friendly or talkative. I couldn' t realize what's their problem. If you want to relax go to the beach on other side of the Island because Tortola has probably the nicest beaches in the Caribbean. However I wouldn't recommend this island to the people willing to party unless you come with a group of friends. In that case the place doesn't metter at all!
Cane Garden Bay, British Virgin Islands
This is a great place to slow down and relax. You should definitely check out the sunset over Cane Garden Bay and the lights out St Thomas at night. For great drinks right on the beach, you must visit Stanley's. For live music and drinks, try Quito's, home to Quito Rhymer.
Road Town, British Virgin Islands
Get on a sailboat late in the day and breathe in the tradewinds as the sun goes down. Don't forget a whole bottle of fine caribbean rum.
Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
AMAZING! Take your waterproof camera and follow the path down through the building sized boulders to the white sandy beach. Just getting there is an attraction is it's own right.
Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
Virgin Gorda is just a beautiful island with white sandy beaches and friendly people who really are nice to meet and talk to. The Baths are a great park and beach that everyone must see if you go there. The water taxis are the only way get around on the islands because they also provide transportation to other spots and the bars and restruants are a great find venture out and go to the smaller one to find the local flavor and food.
Jost Van Dyke Island, British Virgin Islands
Go to the Soggy Dollar Bar...a great beach bar requiring a "wet" landing to get there...hence the name. When I was there I purchased a drink to be redeemed by any friend of mine that visits this place first.
