if you are headed from BSB to Miri in Sarawak, public transport is kind of a hassle as you have to change buses constantly. instead you can organise a ride in a private car for RM 50 (which turns out cheaper than the public transport) through KH Soon Guesthouse in BSB; the driver'll drop you anywhere in Miri, even at the airport without extra payment!

Its best to know a friend in Brunei coz the only way to get a cab is to call for one.. so travelling around might be a bit of a hassle if you don't know anyone there.
