Bachkovo has a well known and very interesting Christian Ortodox Monastery. It is situated in the Rodopi Mountain of Bulgaria. About one hour drive from Plovdiv on the route to the famous Bulgarian recreation and ski resort Pamporovo.

Very nice place, with a beautiful monastery! Near the monastery there's a restaurant, where you can try very tasteful fish.
