People in Burkina Faso
Ouagadougou, Ouagadougou Region, Burkina Faso
Meet with true Africa. Very touching people. Take care with the mosquitos and drink only in closed bottles.

Burkina Faso Culture
Ouagadougou, Ouagadougou Region, Burkina Faso

Burkina Faso Sports
Tengrela, Burkina Faso
Tengrela is a nice place you really got to see if you ever go to Burkina Faso . It’s a country village which benefits from a lake where some hippopotamus have chosen to live. So with a little bit of chance, you might see them. Besides you can enjoy a trip on a local fishing boat or have a drink in local bars. If you want to stay overnight you can stay in a local rustic motel. Enjoy the trip. PS. Be nice to everyone because they are all part of my family :-)

Food in Burkina Faso
Bobo Dioulasso, Western Burkina Faso, Burkina Faso
This is the only city I saw in Burkina Faso. I found it to be a quite nice city. It was well kept and for the most part felt safe wandering its streets. One of the things you may want to check out is the Grande Mosquee which was constructed in 1893 and is an excellent example of mud mosques. The Kibidwe District is the old part of town and is interesting to wander around for a little bit. Another thing to check out is the Grande Marche which has quite a few decent souvenir shops.

Ouagadougou, Ouagadougou Region, Burkina Faso
The laid back capital of western Africa, like Bobo, a good place to relax a bit.
If you like (foreign) film: check to see if the Panafrican Film and Television Festival ( FESPACO ) isn't being held.
If you want to splash out a bit on a fancy dinner: L'Eau Vive, a restaurant runned bij some nice nuns.
