05927This is the only city I saw in Burkina Faso. I found it to be a quite nice city. It was well kept and for the most part felt safe wandering its streets. One of the things you may want to check out is the Grande Mosquee which was constructed in 1893 and is an excellent example of mud mosques. The Kibidwe District is the old part of town and is interesting to wander around for a little bit. Another thing to check out is the Grande Marche which has quite a few decent souvenir shops.
