Self described as "Beautiful British Columbia," the title is well deserved.   Head east for rugged snowcapped mountains over in the Rockies, or relax in wine country in Kelowna.  Head over to the orchards for a picnic in Summerland or go near Kamloops to see the Hoodoos or to immerse yourself in lake country.  Farther west, try your hand at river-rafting along the Thompson.

Ski-enthusiasts?  Don't miss Whistler-Blackcomb - home of the 2010 Olympics where world class skiing and snowboarding await.  Like rock climbing?  Check out the Chief in Squamish.  Go sailing around English Bay in Vancouver before settling down for an evening for amazingly fresh sushi at great prices.

If you want to take part in a classic British tradition, be sure to stop at the Empress Hotel in Victoria for afternoon tea before going on a stroll along the seawall.  Love epic hikes?  Don't miss the West-Coast Trail along the far west of Vancouver Island.   Interested in Storm Watching?  Tofino in November is where it's at.  On the way back to the mainland, don't forget to keep your eyes out for Killer Whales!

What about native art and culture?  The Queen Charlotte Islands - sometimes dubbed as the Galapagos Islands of the North are also the ancestral home of the Haida Nation.  In the area, fly fishing is a popular activity.

Whatever your interest, there's something in British Columbia for everyone.

I lived here for a month and there is not much to do for nightlife except for grab some " Lucky's" beer and set up a bonfire on the beach. However, Whale watching was awsome! Try surfing...its crazy and Check out the Clayoquot Sound Hot Springs. If you like Sushi, Tough City Sushi is the freshest you'll ever have in your life! Delicious . And i recomend ordering and Eggs Benny from Schooners restaurant..the best one i have ever had. If you have a lot of cash then spend the night at the Wickaninnish Inn...gorgeous view and just an awsome Hotel
