Can anyone tell me a bit about the road conditions mid May in BC Cananda. Am planning a 3 week trip and am thinking of going to Bella Coola for bear watching however have heard some people say this place might only be reachable with the ferry and we would like to drive up there. Any other tips for bear and orca watching are very much appreciated as well! Thanks

Before the airport watch for eagle flying everywhere.  I wouldn't want to walk in the village alone at night overthere.

Neat harbor and geographical attraction. Stay in cabin in either town or on the way to  Bella Coola
