Travel Tips from people who've been to Burnaby
Lived there for a while, commuted to downtown, not so bad, cheap lodging and fitness centers. If close to Skytrain it's cool but otherwise you get the pains with the bus transit and the overcrowded 135 bus SFU. Scarce buses at night, but it's walkable, takes about 1hour.
Not very exciting neighbouhood, more a family area.
All right. Good tip? (0) Laid-back warm city located on Canada's West Coast, in the Fraser Valley. A part of Metro Vancouver, along with Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Surrey, Delta, Richmond, White Rock, Langley and New Westminster. One of the largest malls on the wessyde. Lots of mountains, hills, parks, and waterways criss-cross this land. Good tip? (0) Simon Fraser University is located at the top of Burnaby Mountain and has some great views of the city and greater Vancouver. There's a "Playground of the Gods*" midway up the mountain perfect for pictures. * These are totem poles Good tip? (0) Recent Updates for Burnaby
