Named after a delta, Delta was formed from the silt of the Fraser River. It is part of greater Vancouver but not really a major tourist destination. Travellers often pass through Delta on their way to Tsawwassen to take the ferry to Vancouver Island, or on their way to Ladner, once a fishing village, or towards Boundary Bay.
