If in Kelowna for Aug. 1-3 you should check out the Kamaskat Music Festival. Take the Westside Rd. from Westbank towards Vernon. The festival is super chill, right on the Okanagan Lake. It's kind of hippy, but in a good way. Don't expect anything super huge. It's a smaller event with a great sense of community where it is easy to meet cool new humans.

Kelowna is a small city on the Okanogan Lake.  There are a few places to visit.  Visit a lumber company and see how logs are transformed into 2x4 boards and plywood boards.  Be sure to visit the Calona Winery.  Complete the tour with wine tasting.
