0319I'm a fan of Kalamalka Provincial Park just southwards of Vernon. A really nice foresty area situated around a beautiful lake. It's a good stop before you head into the Rocky Mountains near Revelstoke. Of special interest are the cliffsjumps. The jumps are 10 to 20 meters high and the water temperature is pretty good during summer (I jumped in at the first week of September). For dining i can recommend The Italian Kitchen on 2916 30 Ave.
