Placentia is a very little place, but it's well known, because of its harbour. The ferry from North Sidney (NS) arrives at Placentia. Placentia is close to Augentia, which was an US-Army base but small as well. There are an ice rink, restaurants (even a bar) and some stores. I think ther're also one or two B&B accommodations too. Check it out.
