Halifax Travel Guide

Are you traveling on a tight budget? Do you want to use every hard-earned nickel for sites, museums, activities, and other?  Do you only need a bed and a shower?  If so, consider staying at a college or university.  Many institutions in Halifax offer dorm rooms or apartments to travelers for a modest fee.  This is true in other areas arount the world as well.  These institutions are often in great locations or at the very least well cnnected to The time of year may play a factor in room availability, but it is worth the effort to check no matter what the season.  In all my stays, I have had a clean room, climate-controlled, and enjoyable experience.
