Ile du Cap-Breton Travel Guide

TAKE YOUR TIME HERE!  Enjoy the drive up, find a good place to park and spend a good part of the day slowly hiking/walking the trails overlooking the sea.  Its amazing!  I really connected with this place...it is by far one of my favorite spots world wide--I'll never forget it. The energy and feeling is great...and the view...I've never seen the northern Atlantic as blue/green as I saw here.  It was truely an inspiring place for me.   I went in the last week of May...and the weather was perfect and there were not a lot of tourists.  When you visit the rest of N.S. be sure to try and connect with the people and their cultures...its a part of North American history people don't know enough about.  The people here are proud of their culture and know their family herratige more than many people I know.  One visit....and Cape Breton and N.S. touched my heart for life!
