ever wondered what life is like for menonites? head to kitchener! 2 hours from Toronto is this hub for menonites /community. They have a market where you can see their trading skills in action and the famous carriages, they also have a museum that explains their history and which is quite fascinating. Loved this place, however beware that photography though accepted, can be percieved as quite intrusive. be clever and pack a good set of lenses so you wont be killed by a flying coliflower. enjoy this town!

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
When going to Ottawa, Canada's peaceful, open and green capital, make sure not to miss out on the Museum of Civilization across the river in Gatineau. Technically part of the Province of Quebec, it's easily reachable by crossing one of the bridges over the river. This museum is dedicated to the history of Canada with a strong emphasis on the heritage of the First Nation, Aboriginals or Inuit. Tons of items and displays help in bringing across their rich culture and influence on the shape and face of modern Canada. A must-see!
