0116Definitely one of the most scenic places in Canada overlooking the Hudson Bay. This is the ending (or starting) place of the famed Bruce Hiking Trail that stretches all the way to Southern Ontario.
If you like camping, Tobermory has some of the best sites in Ontario. Be sure to check out the Singing Sands Beach as well as the Grotto along the Bruce Trail. It's so easily accessible compared to other trail spots that they have Chinese Tour Buses bring people there!

I stayed at Cha Mao Za it is very quiet and friendly, the wood is a little bit expensive but it is fairly close to everything
I paid $50 for a cabin /night
bath and showers ok - pay extra $2 for hot water

280451064You can catch the car ferry here to head further north, or just stay here and enjoy the shorelines of Georgian Bay. Amazing spot for diving, and great hiking trails too. Be sure to try the whitefish at one of the many restaurants in the "tub"!
