I went skiing at Mont-Tremblant several times in my youth, and I really enjoyed it. We stayed at the Hotel Mont-Tremblant each time, and that was always really nice. It's close to the mountain, and there is a hockey rink in town where you can get worked over by the locals. We always thought that we were pretty good at hockey... and then we played the locals... Anyway, this is a great town, a great hotel, and a great mountain!
