002The scuba diving in Easter Island is remarkable - up to 40 metres of visibility! I dove with Orca Diving in Hanga Roa and was very much impressed - highly profession but still having fun. The dive in the harbour has a great variety of fish and a "surprise" Moa (giant stone head) for tourist photos!

Great budget accomodation on rapa nui for backpackers, great deal right in the centre of Hanga Roa. Not far to the airport, near the sea, a great place to stay!

0168Hanga Roa is best visited by foot. Look out for the tremendous variety of fish served in restaurants; some of them you can only eat there! Also lookfor the Guayaba icecream sold in the supermarket, it's locally made and really worth a try!
