If you do have the opportunity to stop in Wuwei it is  worth while as this is where the famous flying Horse of Wuwei comes from. The horse is probably better known to most people as the symbol of China's tourism. Even though the original is now housed in Beijing the tomb where it was found is quite interesting. The tomb can be found in Leitai Park in Beiguan Rd.
