Travel Tips from people who've been to Xi'an
0106Spend a few hours riding pushbikes around the city walls. Its a long ride and the cobble stones can be a pain in the bum (literally!) but its really quite an amazing experience. Also if you are wanting to try Dog on the menu (I did.) This is one of the best places to do so the only thing is you need to find a restaurant outside the city walls - the government moved all the dog restaurants out of the city to hide it from the Westerners.

il quartiere musulmano è unico e letteralmente favoloso, per dire che ci si può trovare in un vicolo all'una di notte dal barbiere....

0283I loved wandering around the old city centre on my own, even after dark. The people are extremely friendly, even small kids want to practice their one word of English (Hi! or Hello!) and then hide shyly behind their parents when you answer.
