  04983The ice festival at Harbin is one of the most amazing spectacles I have seen in my life! The scale is immense. There are several ice sculpture parks in the city itself and the huge ice and snow creations found in the park across the river are almost unbelievable. When I visited in Feb 2007 they had Temples, Churches made out of ice 1:1 scale. If you are in China at this time of year then it is a 'must see', you won't be disappointed. Good tip? (0)  02626Staid there just for a day, so I didn't get to see that much, but one thing was very clear: you better know some Chinese, otherwise people run away from you.;) (Not even airport personal knows any English, btw.)
