Xi'an Travel Guide

When you go to see the Terracotta worriers then just relax with all the shopping, you can find the exact same things in the bazaar in Xi'an. Anyways if you really want to buy something in one of the many stalls next to the sight, then BARGAIN HARD I managed to help a British couple getiing some 30 cm figures for 75y a peace.... they were telling them 1000.... just pretend that you don't really need it.. walk a bit away.. they will call you and say 750y... go over and look... talk a bit and walk away again.. works everywhere in China...

Bei einem Besuch in Xi'an unbedingt den Nachtmarkt besuchen!! Wer mit dem Zug weiterreist, sollte damit rechnen ca. 2 Stunden vor Abfahrt am Bahnhof zu sein da mit sehr langen Wartezeiten gerrechnet werden muss. Diese alte und eindrückliche "Stadt" bietet viel Unterhaltung, Kultur und eindrückliche Architektur. Wer abseits der Touristenpfade sein möchte, ist hier genau richtig!

Xi'an can easily be done on two overnight trains. It's a dusty little town and there isn't much else there except for the Terracotta Warriors. Pay the extra Y200 for soft sleep berths if you're feeling travel-weary. They're worth it for the privacy of you're tired of being "lao wai'ed" to death
