Aitutaki Atoll Travel Guide

Absolutely the most relaxing place to enjoy the sun and breathtaking beauty of the Atoll.  This is where Niko and I spent our Honeymoon and will absolutely go back.  Fun place to kayak and snorkel.  One of the nurses at Whitaker Wellness Center in Newport Beach (Christy) was married there and gave us the idea to go the Cook Islands for our wedding.  We actually got married on Rarontonga Island about 45 minutes away by plane.  Aitatuki is always in the back of our mind and we are looking forward to going there again (great relaxing place for pregnant moms if your doctor approves travel that is).  The water is so clear and warm.

I went in July 07, boat cruise on the lagoon to take you to the littler islands and do some snorkelling a must! Sea turtles abound! We were told by the boat operator to look out for George, that he might come and say hello, and I was soon to discover that he was a moray eel- rather scarier in real life from 2 metres away than on TV!!! Spectacularly clear water.

A very beautiful place... Blue water, white sand beaches, what more do you want? It's a small paradise!
