Playa Del Coco is a very quiet spot, frequented mostly by fairly well-off American tourists. They mainly come to Playa for the fishing and diving, which is excellent. I saw mantas, devil rays, sharks, huge stingrays, and even had Spinner Dolphins checking me out during my safety stop. If you don't dive or fish though, there's not a lot to do and the beach isn't great.

Playa Del Coco is a growing town with people always about.  You can find shopping, great local food, a good place to have a local beer, and catch a fishing or snorkeling cruise from shore!
