Traveling with Children in Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik, Dalmatia Region, Croatia
This place is for beach bunnies and bar hoppers. It is the same scenario as in Cancun, minus the drunken college kids and the outrageous hotel and food prices. During the day, everyone goes to the beach to get nice and tanned and during the night, everyone heads off to one of the many nightclubs. *A word to the wise, if you plan on going to the beach, you should go there very early to grab some "beach space", otherwise, you'll have to stand and tan. The beaches get packed!!!!!!

Gay / Lesbian Travelers in Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik, Dalmatia Region, Croatia
Its easy to see why Shaw described Dubrovnik the Pearl of the Adriatic. It is a beautiful and romantic destination for all you love birds out there!! The old town is amazing, the city walls are great and well worth walking at least once. If you like seafood you'll love Dubrovnik, you can also find an authentic Bosian restaurant that serves up mean kebabs. The people are friendly, the weather is usually great and the architecture is cool. You can take a boat out to Elphite Islands that are very pretty and if you fancy swimming or mountain biking on the Islands it there for you to do. Local beers and wines are quite tasty too!!

Get a nice drink wherever in Dubovnik, but get your food a little bit apart from the central city (walking distance). Got a half kilo fish (Dorade, Goldbrasse, Dorado, in mexican Huachinango) with wunderful fresh vegetable and potatoes in olive oil a bit outside. Well, plastic chairs, that was a bit hard. But the food was excellent. Just leave the city countryside, look for an ugly garden restaurant with a beautyful blackheared woman, which will serve a (free) aperitiv.
