Islam Latinski is not really a tourist destination, and it's among Croatia's less visited places. Travelers passing through the area usually stick to more popular destinations such as Zadar (www.geckogo.com/Guide/Croatia/Dalmatia-Region/Zadar/), Split (www.geckogo.com/Guide/Croatia/Dalmatia-Region/Split/), and Trogir (www.geckogo.com/Guide/Croatia/Dalmatia-Region/Trogir/).But the most famous monument of landscape architecture is located right next to the highway.  It is a green oak tree, whose leaves are almost all year round green.  You can see up to 10 wells that were used before the water came into place. Two km away   you can visit Janković (Jankovich) Castle. It is situated in Islam Grčki and it is an exceptional and rare example of the combined fortification/residence complex built in medieval time. It was especially important in 17 century, when it become part of the borderline between Venecian Republic (and hence the most-western border of the Cristian West) and then expanding Otoman empire.
