Lopud Travel Guide

Lopud is one of the three Elephite Isles near the Dubrovmik coastline and also a little fishing town on the island. Your only choice to get there is by ship, but it is very worthy not to choose a regular ship but to look for a man called Karmelo Cvetanjevic (pronounced Tsvetanievich), a former sailor who will take you around all the tree isles, submerge you with drinks, give you a very fine meal (usually based on the fish and seafood he catches in the morning) in his house on Lopud ilse for practically no money (it was 180 kunas for three people in 2007). There is usually a girl on the Setalista Nika i Meda Pucica (that's the walkway in the south of the part of Dubrovnik called Babin Kuk) near the beach you can book the trip with her.

The beautiful island Lopud is situated NW from the city Dubrovnika and is part of the Elafiti Islands. Lopud has an area of 4,63 km^{2 .} Lopud has around 220 inhabitants.
