Kaštel Kambelovac i one of the seven Kaštela in Dalmacija, north of Split. It's situated along the adriatic cost and has wonderful beaches. Great accomodation and the restaurants offer local specialties that are amazing!

Similar to Korcula, Hvar and the like on the Croatian coast ... but bigger and, perhaps, not that charming, but an easy and natural stop if you are ferrying along the coast...

Jadrolinija is a wonderfull way to reach the biggest cities as SPlit or Dubrovnik, lot of wonderfull islands nearby could be reached by smaller ferry. Ticket for sale next to the harbour.

The best time to visit this area is just before the busy season. The end of June is perfect because you are still paying off season prices. You can get great deals on airfare, hotels and restaurants. I saved approximatley $1000 on my trip for traveling early.
