Travel Tips for Transportation in Dalmatia Region

Dubrovnik, Dalmatia Region, Croatia
Stay in a sobe (guesthouse) to get to know the locals better as you will probably be sharing a suite with the renter's grandmother. From your sobe walk into the Old city via the road that runs along the sea. There are great views and awesome swimming/diving spots off the cliffs. On the same road you will find an outdoor theatre that shows late night movies with English subtitles - a great night out if you're sharing it with a friend or two. In the old city, be careful not to slip on the streets as they are all made of polished white marble!! Grab yourself a gellato (arguably better than you would find in Italy) and walk the enormous wall surrounding the city - you will find some stunning views guaranteed. After you finish your walk, try your hand at jumping on the small white marble figure on the side of the wall (you'll know what I'm talking about when you get there). The point is to jump on it and try to rotate without falling off. Take your time enjoying this city. In my opinion, it is the most beautiful and kept together old quarter in all Europe.

Zadar, Dalmatia Region, Croatia
Go swimming near the musical steps and watch the boats come in from visiting the Koronati Islands. Take a ride with the boat man. Make sure that you shop around for a boating trip to the Koronati Islands - there are many companies, and some jam cram people on their boats which dosen't make for the most enjoyable day. I recommend a boat that looks in shape and form like a pirate ship. This particular ship has two blue eyes at the bow and has a lower seating capacity than many others. Drink as much wine as you like and eat as much as they can feed you, then get chatty with the crew - you'll have a blast.

Omis is a small city in South Dalmatia region. . Above the city is situated old pirates castle with view at the whole city. Beautiful but rocky beach in summer is crowded. Through the city goes river Cetina. Wide streets of old city tells you where to go... many shops with souvenirs and market with Croatian food and alcohol drinks like: Rakija, Travarica, Prosek, Kruskovac and many other... Like in every Mediterrian country life begins after the dusk so there is many cafes, and restaurants where you can go. Have a nice stay...
