Vela Luka is the biggest city of Kurcula Island, Coratia. There are a few restaurants on the eplanade, where you can eat Croatian and Italian food. On the way to the city of Korcula, you´ll find a big supermarket just a few seconds by car from the esplanade on the right side. The best swimming place is just 7 minutes from Vela Luka by car. Go along the coast southbound and stop the car, if you see another Isalnd on a distance of ca. 200 m.

This is an amazing little town nearest to the Sun :) Take a bus from Korcula bus station, and you'll arrive at Vela Luka some 45 minutes later. You'll see some interesting villages on your way. Enjoy the hospitality of Vela Luka, where the streets have no name, only numbers...walk through The First and Twelfth  street...
