Croatia - General Info

Our capital...I'm not very fond of Zagreb,but it's ok,I guess.Great for shopping and education(many good schools and colleges).

This town is a gem. It is built on a cliff overlooking the sea, which is crystal clear . The city centre is all cobbled streets and venetian style buildings.There are several surrounding islands that you can travel to easily by small ferry boats and are perfect for day trips to the beach. The food is excellent, try the chevapcici (cigar shaped meatballs) or any of the local fresh fish dishes. There are a lot of small art galleries and shops.Lots of private bed and breakfast type accomodations.

Nice city with a Camping place and nice view.

Nice village with one of the biggest camping complex in the world.

Wunderschöne Altstadt, super zum lädele..

Bokun Guesthouse is a great place to stay, just up the road from the port/pier. There is a bus to the old town Dubrovnik but it is a 20-30min walk too. The guesthouse is a family run place and totally secluced.

One thing that I can confirm is that...from the moment when I arrived in Rijeka, I have realized that this is a town where a woman can travel by herself, can have fun and enjoy the sightseeing of the town , without feeling threatened or mistreated at any point!...:-)

if you're in for some "gayish" fun, do not hestitate to contact darko. just say you're gay, he'll know what to do :D

A beautiful Croatian Island...Perfect for those who like to party and have lots and lots money :)
