  25171561A real Cuban city for a slice of real Cuban life ... see people go about their ways... see communism in action ... see some impressive buildings too and numerous bookstores and parks... see Fidel Castro and Che Guavera pasted here and there... try and mix with the locals here and get here on a local bus too if you can... it gives a much more authentic experience of Cuba than sun-bathing in tourist enclosures like Varadero...just walk around the city... Until they do something with it you can skip this city or to come there for 2 hours on your way from Varadero to Havana just to take a look at the book-store in front of the Theater.
